Take a look here:
You could also check out the Seasonal that has been up this week. You still have three days to complete it, and it's totally doable.
Go to Undercity (if you're Horde). The Questgivers are in the courtyard above the city.
Go to Stormwind (if you're Ally). The Questgivers are just outside of town.
Buy lots of everything you can get from the vendor, who is standing with the Questgivers (you'll need more than 20 of each for the quests alone), and start cooking.
If you stick with this you can lvl up your Cooking skill to 300 just by doing this seasonal and buy cooking ingrediences with the vendors here. They cost almost nothing, as opposed to the normal way of skilling up Cooking.
Edit: The vendors who stand by the Questgivers in this seasonal has a cookingbook for sale. Buy it and you will find 5 recipes inside. These recipes are all the recipes you need to skill your Cooking up to 300.
I managed to get my cooking to over 350 just by cooking the turkeys. I easily killed more than 100 Wild Turkeys just trying to get my Turkinator accomplishment. The Pilgrim's Week really makes it easy to raise your cooking skill.
Oh look where we are at! A DATABASE site!
