Cooking 415->how ?

Just to be 100% sure now.....there is NO way to get past this mark without doing the fu****ing daily dalaran ones or is there another way to get to 425 ?....if so....please tell me.I realy hate the idea that you are locked to the darn daily to complete a proffession....

Scroll down a bit in the comments and you'll see people saying the mats aren't available at the vendor (though I haven't personally checked, so it may be a matter of "random is random").

Otherwise, check the AH for the Northern Spices if you don't want to do the dailies... They'll probably add something to cooking later to ease the pain, but for now, you've got to do it the hard way it seems.

If you want to max out cooking, you MUST do the SW/Org dailies. There are no recipes available in Cata for cooking that do not come from purchasing with the daily reward tokens.

Because the daily also rewards a skill point (or two) for each completion, I recommend using the daily as part of your leveling process. The recipes require either 3 or 5 tokens to purchase, and you will probably want to buy at least two, so you need to do the daily at least 8 times. If you are just trying to get from 415 to 425, the SW/Org daily might actually be the simplest way.

Honestly, the dailies they implemented for Cata are not bad. You don't have to buy or kill anything. All the items spawn right inside the city, and have a reasonable respawn rate. I haven't done them in Org, but the only real problem in SW is the level 85 sharks in the bay. >.>

idk why you hate dalaran dailies but it's easy, the rhino it gave you 2 cooking awards, plus some on the baggie too.
So at this rate it's easier to level by critter bites up to 475, that's what I did.
The spices are also cheap nowadays.
