well staves are nice, but BS can make mace/daggers with spellpower on it and inscription can also make off-hands with these stats. so casters are fine with those.
im not sure where you got that monks require strenght but that blantly false, the require agility for both tanking and dps.
they share their staves with ferals, and indeed there is quite a shortage on these staves through proffesions. however luckily enough for monks and druids, BS is able too make agility polearms which both classes can wear making the lack of agi staves through proffesions moot.
