When Rotha squeezed Vashadya hard enough for some of the flowers to fall off, Bowie quirked an eyebrow, but left it at that - for now.
Spots of color blossomed on Isaac's ashen face, and his eyebrows began a steady ascent.

The demonthought to himself then placed a hand down his satchel and pulled out a swordmade to be used by one or two hands and to switch with ease between the two. The blade was white as a river of milk. And the hilt golden and shaped like a two-headed dragon, a chimera wrapping itself up to the blade and the heads making the guard. And in the center of the guard lay a crimson ruby.
"The philosophers sword. It's yours to claim." Delta handed over the cursed weapon to William.

Vance and Miriam followed on the coattails of the rest of the group. Far behind even them was Jenna, while Farah hovered in the death knight's shadow not but a few paces away.
As the group exited the manor and out into the island sun, Vlad took a breath from the tropical air, "Little too much sunshine for me, but it's sure as fel better than Old Town," the assassin answered, stretching his arms behind his head and looking around.
Set upon a terraced cliff, the manor loomed above the rest of the archipelago as the highest point of all the islands. Leon led the group down the pathway, flanked by verdant flora, that spiraled downward. Below them, the group would catch a sight of a bustling, multi-national town sprawling between the manor's location and the white sand beaches. The buildings were anything but uniform, every style of architecture represented in their construction.
In the distance, as they rounded the circular path, they could see bridges stretching out from the northeast, northwest, southeast, and the south to other isles. The hazy, indistinct shapes of buildings could be seen upon the landmasses, but their details were indecipherable. They passed the half-circle plaza where the portals had deposited them originally, and then reached the end of the path, where the town began.
"So this place is actually pretty cool," Leon explained, "I've been here for a while. There's like everything you could want: shops, cafes, there's even a spa in the south! But Ben's giving us all villas to live in while we're here."
