Dagger Combat possible?

Best i've been able to put together quickly. Would it be possible to create a comparable DPS build using daggers while combat? I was thinking of getting Oppertunity in Sub. but wasn't sure what to take from...any help?

Edit: Okay, maybe I was being picky by insisting on using Fist/Dagger for coolness factor. Whats simply the best raid DPS out of the ones listed here that could still fare well in PvP? I hate to sacrifice one for another or be forced to respec all the time.

the points in imp sprint and kick and be moved to other places, depending on how you like to play.

also, i dont know if these are any good. with the first build i was pulling as much dps as i was when i was muti spec.

Why would one need Sword Specialization in a dagger build? That and a couple small things, such as leaving off Blade Twisting (increases value of BS) are a mistake, at least the way I would play.

I've always been daggers since reaching max level in classic & the thing I note the most is that energy regeneration will help ease the combo point situation. The following build caters to that & also picks up more damage-increasing talents as well as Prey to the Weak (which I'm sure some players would neglect in favor of some Assassination talents). I don't view Killing Spree as a deal-breaker for Combat daggers, so I didn't include it.

In the worst case scenario, this is more than likely better than one of the builds I saw above. PVE only, and performs less in 5-man content (typically).

Combat daggers is very far behind the other two competitive trees (not counting HAT, still waiting to hear the verdict on that). The problem lies mostly in backstab's inefficiency compared to sinister strike and mutilate.

I've decided to use the HaT build in 10/25 mans until further notice based on research. Now im working on concocting a build that will operate well in PvP but not be a complete failure in Heroic 5 mans...any ideas there? I was thinking of maybe just going Mutilate there, but my knowledge of changes to Combat and Sub. are somewhat lacking.

Mutilate if you want to do both PvP and Heroics.

Since the addition of Mut and it's subsequent changes they really need to modify Backstab for it ever to be a useful skill again. It's damage is inferior to Mutilate, it costs the same energy and only gives 1 CP. The only thing it has going for it is the bigger boost to crit from Puncturing Wounds, which equals to Mutilate since it's 15% to both hands, and the superior CP gen always wins.

Unfair advantage? When in PvE are you getting hit?

@OP: Why would you go Combat Daggers when Mutilate is so much better?
