Nothing happened.
"Weeell, once again I say, this could have been more climactic," he grumbled, wrapping the Angor Stone into a roll of wool and hiding it in the depths of his cloak.

"Oooh, magical oaths. Did not know those fancy things actually work - well, if you do not count the fancy-shmancy sparks appearing at uttering the oath," Vincent commented. "For the record, him handing over the staff and stepping to and fro would look like a credible enough evidence."

Serenade rolled his eyes. "Fine," he said, dropping the staff. He took a quick step through, then back, sending a pulse of energy from the floor to knock the staff back into his hands. "Satisfied?"

"Of course," Serenade said to Vincent, stepping aside so he could pass through.
They were in a long, large stone hallway. Tapestries lined the walls, and the floor was well polished wood. If one were to look at it for a period of time, they would realize that it looked suspiciously similar to an Alliance barracks.
"Welcome to the headquarters of the Valiance Bay Company."

"The things money can buy," Serenade said with a chuckle. "This way, get settled, have a drink, and I'll let the Chairman know that we were successful." He brought them to a side room, with a cheerily crackling hearth, soft rugs and several large chairs. A drinks cabinet stood in one corner.
Serenade nodded at them and left, beckoning Spectre to come with him.

Vilsord matched Hazel's pace, all the while managing her hat and its cargo with as much care as she could manage while running. Each time she passed a dwarf she pointed frantically in the direction of the chamber shouting, "Hurry! Before they escape!" and continued to run, not waiting to see if the ruse had worked.

Varima nodded, her and Azuretalon heading into the room. The hippogryph laid down near one of the chairs, obviously reserving it for Varima, as the night elf went to get a drink.

The trio cleared out of the ruins, followed by the shouts and frantic screaming of the archaeologists and the fleet-footed messengers trying to warn the camp. Hazel took a lead away from the entrance they had come from, hoping to find a short part of the wall they could jump to avoid returning to the camp.

Vilsord reached the wall, and rather than waste time searching dropped to one knee and cupped her hands over it to give Hazel a stable platform from which to mount the barrier.
