"What the--" Vrell muttered, hearing a roar from outside the cave. She bolted from her seated position and rushed to the entrance.
It was hard to see in the darkness, but she could make out someone, or something, running from what appeared to be that mountain lion from earlier. She was tempted to snicker, the scene looked comical, but reaction got there first.
The bounty hunter held up her crossbow and tried to aim the best she could on a moving target, and released a bolt towards the cat.

Irwin ducked behind some rocks for cover, watching the cat be knock aside by the bolt.
"Well now that's convenient..." The undead commented.

Vrell fitted another bolt into the crossbow and took aim at the mountain lion, this time with less difficulty due to it not moving as much. When the second bolt struck, the creature stopped moving.
"Cheers," she said, checking her quiver to see how many projectiles she had left.

"Probably shouldn't waste them... can do something with the meat too," Vrell sighed, standing up and heading out towards the lion's corpse. She glanced around for whoever had been chased by it, but didn't see anyone, so she knelt down and, using a knife hidden on her person, started cutting the bolts out of the carcass.

Vrell muttered, wiping the blood off on her cloak before slipping the two bolts back into her quiver. She eyed the corpse, "I'm not the best at this, could try, but it might just be better to leave it," she shook her head, standing up and sheathing the knife she used.

Irwin watched the woman walk back towards the cave, quietly making his way out from his position and beginning to climb up the cliff face.

The bounty hunter grumbled something as she found the rock she had been sitting on before and flopped back down ontop of it. She kicked her feet up on another section of the cavern wall and busied herself with properly cleaning off her knife and arrowheads.

"Sorry ladies, but I can't risk the competition..." Irwin mumbled, digging out a hole above the cave entrance and shoving a bundle of dynamite in it. Lighting a match, he ignited the explosives.
And proceeded to run back the way he had come from.

Vrell hummed to herself, pausing as she thought she heard something odd, but ignored it as most likely being another animal of some sort. She reclined back against her rock, just in time to be thrown off of it and onto the ground as an explosion filled the mouth of the cave, quaking the entire 'structure'.
The horses screeched as rocks poured down in a literal landslide, smothering the fireball but trapping everyone inside. Hazel was up on her feet as soon as the explosion started, rushing forward as Vrell stared dumbstruck, barely noticing a small stream of pebbles raining on her head.
"And so it begins," the historian murmured, pursing her lips tightly at the sealed entrance.

"Well, damn," Meyer muttered, shutting out the contact with his eye of kilrogg - causing it to go out in a bright flash of green light that lit up the entirety of the cave - and spurring up his demonic steed, Taintspark.
"You'd better not blow up and have me waste all this time," he growled, his hand on his yellow hat so as to stop it from being carried away by the wind, his blue trenchcoat flapping loudly - although not nearly as loudly as the drumming of the dreadsteed's hooves.

Character: Nathanael Sopwith
Location: Silverpine Forest
Nathanael Sopwith is a Lordaeron mage turned Forsaken at the age of 46. Classically schooled in life and a member of the Royal Apothecary Society in death, he is an adept enchanter and alchemist as well as a skilled spellcaster.
He often wears old-fashioned blue and black robes on his relatively intact corpse, and is now completely bald with empty eye sockets.
That's right, I'm back yet again. We'll see how long it lasts. I haven't played wow since last summer, but I guess that doesn't matter :)
Nathanael kissed the cold, dead lips of his wife Catalina one last time before he departed. They had often travelled together, but this time he would be alone. "But only in the flesh", he assured himself. He lifted up his pack and tied it to his belt, took the ashwood staff next to the door and stepped out of their house in Silverpine Forest. On the porch he produced a small rune from his pack, took a deep breath and threw himself into the Nether.
Location: Stonard
With a tearing noise Nathanael exited the Twisting Nether at his intended destination - the Horde outpost in the Swamp of Sorrows. He just about lost his balance as he landed on a protruding root but quickly regained his senses and set off on the short walk to the building he was visiting.
As he approached the doorway he could hear a familiar commotion. "Bickering as always", he thought. He knocked on the frame with the tip of his staff and a moment later a blonde blood elf woman appeared. "Cersei", he said and nodded as a greeting. She only muttered something in reply and he continued, "I hear Rogvar is in". He entered and ascended the stairs. The three orcs he met upstairs were not friends as much as business partners. "Cersei is exactly as charming as always", he said entering the room. It had just the effect he had hoped for; the light mood he had succeed to create would be very beneficial for his business there.
He left half an hour later the way he came, with a parcel of fadeleaf and some valuable information. He then went directly to the flight master and purchased a ride to Kargath.

"What was--!" Vrell looked around for the source of the light, as it died away.
"That matters little at the moment," Hazel stated firmly, holding her ground until the final tremors finally dispersed and the debris stopped falling. The bounty hunter scowled, turning and trying to calm the horses, who were making an infernal racket. The historian glanced at their fire, which had nearly died, before grabbing the stuff that wasn't trapped in the back of the cave.
"How are we going to get out of here!" Vrell raised a frustrated hand to the cave ceiling.
Hazel muttered under her breath, removing an oil lamp from their supplies and quickly lighting it before their fire completely dispersed. The light flooded the inside of the cave, and the smaller of the two women held up the lantern to look around, "Now that is the question we should be focusing on."

Irwin had ran until he was safely away from the crime scene, and then slowed somewhat.
He kept an eye out, but continued moving. If they weren't dead, he expected them to be moving again soon enough.

Vrell managed to calm the horses and joined Hazel near the back wall of the tunnel, "Found anything?" she asked.
"The rocks are looser over there," the historian gestured with a hand. "Most likely the debris from the explosion covered an opening it shook loose. If you can dislodge the rubble, we probably have a possible means of escape."
"Works for me," the bounty hunter cracked her knuckles, bending low and proceeding to carefully, with Hazel's direction, pry away the rocks to unveil an opening in the back of the cave. Vrell used her the hilt of a sword to widen the entrance, before stepping inside. "It's a tunnel. The horses will just barely fit in here, so we don't have to leave them behind."
"Wonderful," Hazel said, handing the lantern off to Vrell, who adjusted her grip on her sword to compensate, as the historian untied the horses from the rock they were tethered to and led them by the reigns towards the entrance.

"This will require personal touch," the warlock muttered, riding up to the freshly sealed up cave. He hopped down, murmuring several words of power in quick succession.
Out of a portal a small, barely ten inches long gyreworm slithered out, its rings chiming cheerfully. Tarnik the imp fell out of a cloud of smoke a second later.
"Enjoy your meal, Rings. Tunnel through first, then eat until you're full. Tarnik, follow those two," Meyer ordered. Rings the gyreworm made an excited somersault and dug happily into the throb. Tarnik muttered something profane, watching the warlock mount Taintspark and ride away.

Vrell grumbled, doubling back and leaving Hazel blinking as the bounty hunter pushed a large stone in front of the entrance they had entered, along with shoving some rocks in to seal the cracks.
"That is for?" the historian asked as Vrell clapped her hands, picking up the lantern.
"Security. It goes hand-in-hand with paranoia, which I'm plenty full of after we just nearly got sealed in there," the bounty hunter replied, pulling out her blade again and taking the lead. Hazel shrugged, following after as they strode through the cavern. It was dusty, with a lack of moisture, and kept winding in natural turns and twists.
