Robert waved at the waitress again, pointed at the coffee mug and drew a
large
jar in the air, then turned to Vagrin.
"To them and you sitting here overdoing dwarf grumpiness quota," he said.

"I think you and I can fill that bit just fine..." Silvia giggled, beginning to pull off the sentinels armor. "And then, we must be getting to Hyjal." She assured her new pet.

Vahij smirked at this, but was far too preoccupied to respond verbally and instead she pulled the sentinel between the two of them, helping to remove the night elf's underclothes. In truth she still would have preferred it if the sentinel struggled a bit, but she was not about to complain - Silvia was her kind of woman and besides, several weeks without any
fun
was more than enough to make the succubus desperate...

Inquisitor Varall, Vagrin Wrathhammer
Ratchet
The dwarf cleared his throat quietly, "where ter start... Ah tha's right, ye'll be wonderin' why I'm here - well, in short, sligh'
malfunction
wit' some gnome's bloodeh machine an' ye... Tha's 'bout it." As for the grumpiness act, "I'm tired, had a lil' ter much beer and
guardians o' the ligh'
behavin' as they're doin' disgusts me... I take it ye dinnae see wha' that good-fer-nothin' lot did earlier?"

"I just came in, so no. And I'll probably regret it, but I'd like to hear the whole of it," Robert nodded solemnly.

"Well then..." SIlvia giggled again, stepping forward with the sentinel close behind.

Inquisitor Varall, Vagrin Wrathhammer

"Long storeh short, the inquisitor," the dwarf spat at this, "struck down two mos' lik'ly innocen' orcish women, in cold blood. All ter intimidate th' third 'un, some human ledy... I dinnae 'zactly what ye feel terwards the Horde Rob, but ter me strikin' down innocents ain't justice, tis murder."

"You know I don't exactly like orcs, but you also know I don't hurt defenseless women, children, and elders," Robert said, emphasizing the 'defenseless' part ever so slightly. "If you say they were innocent, well, I trust your judgment," he sighed.

Inquisitor Varall, Vagrin Wrathhammer
Ratchet
"Well I'm not ter sure on tha,' but there be three kinds o' people th' inquisitor in quest'in kills: members o' the Horde or in terms o' the Alliance: not jus' bad warlocks an' demons, but th' good lot ter... What be e'en worse - they dinnae even show eny respect nor valor when th' bastards do kill evildoers..." the dwarf explained, shaking his head, "this be wha' the Church's come ter nowadays."

Robert listened silently, even though he had a vague doubt that maybe, just maybe, if the inquisitor could tell the story from his point of view, it would be different.
Then again, the marksman had little tolerance for people treating those around them like trash, for whatever reason.

"Well, ye gonna tell me why yer 'ere o' all places?" Vagrin asked eventually, looking considerably more sober and at least somewhat more cheerful.

"Chasing a rumor, of all things. Figured a goblin tavern would be a nice place for a head-start," Robert explained, sipping from his beer again.

"Pro'ly," agreed Vagrin, finishing his third cup of coffee and leaning back in his chair, "what be the rumour yer chasin'?"

"
Artifact chase
... Er, that I haven't laddie - been spendin' me time in Ironforge oversee'in some projects, minin' an' such... That'd explain why there be so many paladins an' priests o' the Church roamin' about tho'," the dwarf responded, suddenly looking interested. "So, gonna tell me wha' it be then?" he asked.

Robert suddenly looked very embarrassed.
"Well, that is kinda the point, see. Been hunting crocs in the Wetlands, and when I got to Menethil, the town was buzzing - artifacts this, and chase that, - but nothing solid I could find. So I jumped the first boat here," he explained.

"Well, in case ye haven't noticed, I haven't the foggiest idea 'bout where ter set 'bout findin' these... Artifacts," the dwarf stated, stroking his beard.

"Well, I don't really have anything better to do A Tee Am," Robert shrugged. "Got a hefty sum for those croc hides, so I can allow myself some time off. And you? What was that mining project you were talking about?"

"O' just extractin' some ores an' dwarven artifacts, though I dinnae think the kind yer after... I could bore ye for hours wit' the details if ye want, tho' it's been me experience that 'side from gnomes, dwarves and goblins, most dinnae want ter hear all the details," the dwarf explained. "Needless ter say it involved a lot o' diggin', excavatin' and an infestation o' nasties after some crackpot gnome decided it'd be a greet idea ter tamper with an ancient staff usin' a hammer...Then I ended up 'ere somehow, but tha's fate i' seems."

"Well, as the old joke goes, if someone put a lever in Gnomeregan and hung a sign on it saying 'END OF THE WORLD LEVER. DO NOT TOUCH.', the paint wouldn't even get the chance to get dry," Robert grinned.

Marcus Callahan
Ratchet
"Scared?" Marcus replied absently after quite a while - he had been observing the dwarf in the corner and noted that he had gotten company. "If that drunken sob were scared, he wouldn't be having coffee. No..." he said and became still for another moment. He then stood up slowly, picked up his cup and walked over to the couple in the corner.
"My name is Marcus", he introduced himself. "May I join you?"
