"Alrighty then," Serenade said. "We're close to the Dark Portal right now, which is why I believe the Chairman is sending us on instead of having us return the artifact. Now, Outland is a war zone. We'll need to be prepared. The Legion has retreated from a good portion of Outland, but it still has a full on grip just in front of the Star of Destiny, meaning that it's going to be hard to to actually get into the peninsula as a whole. Once we do, however, it's a straight shot into the marsh and up into the mountains."
He paused and took a drink from his flask.
"Anyways, the mountains are going to be our main obstacle before we reach Netherstorm. There's several cults that have entrenched themselves in the mountains, along with a serious presence of the Black Dragonflight. I vote that we take a side path, and avoid the wildlife as well. Once we're into the Storm itself I'll brief you on the area."

"What fun, we'll see exciting new places and meet - and brutally kill, probably - a lot of interesting people," Vincent commented, meaning every single word of it. "Remind me to take a souvenir, alrighty?"

The smile persisted on the succubus' face, though the rest of her expression was considerably more grim, "you don't... say..." Vahij commented. The demoness coughed again and was forced to loosen her clothes a little further, finding it hard to breathe. Truth be told she had run out of ideas, bar one - though she was not sure she was prepared to go through with that particular course of action, yet.
The succubus tried to say something more but, as it had become increasingly difficult for her to inhale enough oxygen to both breathe and talk, she was instead forced to reach out for Silvia mentally.

The dwarf raised an eyebrow, "I ough' ter hit ye for tha'
atrocious
pun," he warned, pronouncing
atrocious
better than any of the other words in his sentence. "Le's ge' ye outta 'ere," he added, helping Robert inside. The room appeared to be empty and the dwarf quickly closed the balcony door after them, in case anyone else was out there.
The inquisitor meanwhile, had problems of her own, the first and foremost being the fact that she had to deal with
goblins
rather than the fact there were two escaped heathens on the loose.
After the best part of a minute
explaining
the situation to the bruisers, involving forking out more bribes and also providing a few subtle threats - of which there was not one the goblins did not fail to pick up on, before they finally understood what was expected of them.
That being said the goblins were not stupid, they understood money and they understood the idea of staying on the church's good side, so they were soon breaking down doors of their own and searching the nearby buildings in the typical goblin way - a means of searching for suspects that involves pocketing large amounts of
evidence
from time to time, not to mention
accidentally
helping themselves to pretty much anything that was not nailed down. In some cases they even helped themselves to things that
were
nailed down.

"I'm going to have to bind you..." Silvia told the demoness.

I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this,
the succubus thought. The demoness was silent for a few moments, before giving a resigned sigh which ended in another cough,
do it,
she told Silvia.

Silvia nodded, the dominatrix flashing out and wrapping around Vahij. The draenei held the chain; channeling magic through it and beginning to bind the succubus to her.

Vahij made no signs of protest, instead the succubus submit to Silvia's will and provided what little magic she could muster to help with the binding.

Silvia worked on the binding spell; the dominatrix pulling and mending Vahij's essance, healing the succubus as it ties her to Silvia. Mentally, physically, and in any other way imagineable it connected the two.
Silvia watched, pulling the chain back once it was done.

The succubus looked on in awe as her flesh and bones repaired themselves before her very eyes. "I'd almost forgotten how that feels," she remarked, looking herself over.
Eventually Vahij turned back to Silvia and nodded her thanks, before pulling herself up off the ground and brushing the dirt off her clothes.

"Aye' tha's true, 'less it's shots... No' tha' eny dwarf'd be seen dead wit' tha' lil' drink on 'im," Vagrin admitted, soaking a piece of cloth with the antiseptic before applying it the wound.
From the neighboring buildings came the sound of doors being either opened normally or battered down if no-one came to answer them.

There was no sense hurrying the dwarf up, what with his connection to the Light and superior knowledge of first aid, so Robert endured, silently.
Meanwhile, in one of the houses, the goblins that had kicked the door open found themselves running into a very hungry felhound wearing a large black collar adorned with numerous rune-covered spikes. The demon growled, seizing the potential snack.
In another house still, an almost ten-foot tall felguard was waiting, his skin pale yellow and his rune-covered armor pitch black. When the door came down, he brandished his fel-infused khorium asked and grinned horribly, "Boo."

Vagrin appreciated the silence and thoroughly as he could. The dwarf applied some light magic to the wound to help clean it, but avoided doing too much in case he caused any accidental damage. He then dabbed on some more antiseptic to finish off, before grabbing a dry piece of cloth and binding it around the wound as tightly as possible.
"Tha' should be good 'nough fer now, if yer up ter it we ought ter keep goin'," he announced, after having made a few last minute adjustments to the bandage.
At the same time, a short distance away, the inquisitor had made her men regroup. They had received reports of further demon attacks and she had little doubt it had something to do with her prey, as soon as she could she intended to send a request to the church for more men and supplies.
For the time being however, Varall made her way towards a building that she could feel was tainted with a demon of some kind. She was not quite sure of what kind, but she knew it was something big.
As she approached the building her men spread out, forming a wide v-shape that encompassed the entryway. Her men halted, every second one brandishing a shield, aiming their weapons at the doorway. "Surrender demon, we have you surrounded," the inquisitor commanded, watching the doorway closely.

The demon let out a barking laugh, "Since when do high and mighty inquisitors offer us poor little demons to surrender?"

Marcus and his group didn't manage to do much more in the time before Varall called a regroup - she had detected a demon inside of a building. The five now joined with the force surrounding the building, and the inquisitor communicated their superiority and demand to the demon.
"Since when do high and mighty inquisitors offer us poor little demons to surrender?" the demon laughed, and Marcus actually agreed - in part. He considered his boss to be far too unmerciful in most cases, but when it came to demons he almost considered himself her equal. And this one didn't stand much chance.
Far up on a hillside, the two mercenary crossbowmen was gaining elevation one at a time while the other watched over the rooftops. In a matter of minutes they would be poised with a perfect overwatch of the town...

"How're we gonna ge' o'erthere unseen?" Vagrin asked, peering out the window at the sea for a brief moment. They were not too far away, but they still had several streets between them and the nearest ships.
"Let me put it this way: You have two options - dying the slowest, most painful death imaginable, or leading us to your accomplices and receiving a second chance... The choice is yours," the inquisitor responded, leaning on her scythe and patiently watching the doorway.
