Darkmoon Faire Adventurer's Guide Glitch?

So basically I want to get some tickets from the strongest woman alive quest... Till I remembered I had chucked it out a while back. People tell me to ask the undead woman or gnome outside the portal to Darkmoon Island and ask for the Adventurer's guide, but when I do, they just tell me about it and say I can replace it with them. But the problem is, they don't have any other dialog to replace it. Am I missing something?

Have you checked your bank? It may still be in there and that might be the cause for them not offering to replace it.
