Hello, I've completed the quests for the death knights where we join forces with the scarlet enclave after the lich king disapears where does the story carry on?

There's nothing in your quest log? Did you forget to talk to Darion Mograine after the battle? You should have been told to go back to Acherus, where you will speak with Darion and get a quest to go kill Patchwerk and a bunch of scourge in the city. Then you get a quest to go to either Orgrimmar, or Stormwind (depending on what faction are you) and speak with the leader of your faction.
Ahhh okay i just finished that now, so now i've handed my into the king of stormwind and thats the end of the chain?

That is the end of the chain. Now, you get to decide where you want to go. I suggest straight to outlands, but you could always go to Plaguelands and grind your way to 60 out there. It's only 2 levels, and the mobs will be cake for you.
yes it will be cake for him, but low xp, in outland you got higher xp from quests and mobs so you decide and in outland its piece of cake too
