Death Knight or Paladin for MoP

Hey there folks,
So I'm trying to decide whether to level a paladin or a death knight before MoP comes out. I enjoy them both but I wanted to know from experienced players what their thoughts are. I am mostly going to be playing Retribution/Protection if I go Paladin or Blood/Frost (maybe Unholy) with DK. Thanks for your help!
