Hello. Seems like the defense point system has been changed from TBC.
Previously, 2 points of defense rating gave 1 defense, but it is not anymore, so that's why I wonder what it is now. 3 points?

The conversion from defense rating to defense (or any other rating to its corresponding attribute) depends on your level. As you level up you will need increasingly more of each rating to get the same result.

The amount of Defense Rating you need for a set amount of defense skill has always scaled with your level, so you will need more Defense Rating per point of defense skill at 80 than you did at 70.
However, another change introduced with the latest patches was diminishing returns for avoidance stats. The more Defense Rating you have, the less each additional point does for you.
