Devilsaur vs Kitty

Just to make sure I got this straight figured I'd inquire. For all intents and purposes, Cats are considered to be top dog again (pardon the pun), but due to Rake they don't play well with Longevity. Would I be correct in assuming then that Devilsaurs would be the optimal instance pet for a BM with 3/3 Longevity for the more BW uptime, as their signature ability benefits from it easily, making sure thier 9% damage increase is always up?
How different is the dps of a cat with 1/3 Longevity vs a Devilsaur with 3/3 Longevity, not found solid numbers on either yet, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. And yes, I realize part of the cat's use is dropping Mastery for Readiness, mostly why I'm torn here. I like 3/3 Longevity and want to optimize it's use.

I have a Devilsaur and I'm 3/3 Longevity, and I've noticed an exponential DPS increase. However, I can't really speak for higher level instances (like the Northrend ones) but at level 64 the Devilsaur seems to be putting out very respectable numbers.

Devilsaur, because the 51-point talent to give 4 extra pet talent points is god anyways.
and always get 3/3 Longevity.

I still prefer getting the 51 point talent. Cause you are not going to be in a raid everytime your on. The best way to spec a pet IMO with and w/o the 51 pt talent. With=(

). W/o=(
http://www.wowhead.com/?petcalc=chdM0f0zzh0o
). Getting Call of the Wild and Rabid is really nice. I just think readiness is that great...with longevity BW is pretty quick CD anyway. I know its used for rapid fire and traps and stuff...but i just dont think it's as good. But most people tell you different anyway. And Leth knows a lot more than me anyway. I just prefer the 51 pt talent...but to answer the real question, Devilsaur is best pet for dps. But i really like having a gorilla at all times. I have had him tank a couple of the Wotlk lower instances. For 5 mans hes really good. Cause its like a back up tank. Plus he gives an Aoe so thats not to bad either. But pure DPS devilsaur beats all.

Just to clarify, does 3/3 Longevity cause problems with Rake? I always thought 2/3 Longevity cut off the last rake dot causing a DPS loss, while 1/3 and 3/3 caused a DPS gain.
