One of the first things I noticed when the prepatch went live was that once again the bloom effect is switched back on.
And with
/console ffxglow 0
it can be disabled.
Unfortunately it does not stay disabled, it keeps getting switched on.
I just checked and I even have
SET ffxglow "0="
in the Config.wtf but it does not do anyhing anymore.
One of the best places to observe this is the Stormwind portal room.
With ffxglow active it is all fuzzy and gives me a headache, with ffxglow disabled the image sharpens a lot.
/console ffxglow 0
-> image is sharp
quit game
enter game
-> image is blurry again
Am i missing something or is this the same bug that got hotfixed almost 6 years ago for 6.0.3?

You can make a very simple addon to set it, that way it will be set when you log in or reload UI:
Just put:
SetCVar("ffxGlow", 0)
In a .lua file and put it in a folder in your addons folder called whatever you want then also add a .toc file with:
## Interface: 90002
## Title: No Glow |cFF99CC01rev|r |cFFFF00006.0.1|r
## Version: 9.0.2
## Author: X
## Notes: Addon to set Cvars
*.lua
Replace * with whatever you called the LUA and put whatever you want for author, toc file should have the same name you gave the LUA and folder should also have same name.
