hunter mages and DKs got their pets (or mirror images) to boost their DPS, in duel and arena you don't care cause they disappear when their master dies, but in PvE they will outdamage you most of the time.

hmmm, mayb HaT is supposed to b the new "raid" build, like how combat sword/fist or combat swords was the "raid" build in TBC.. i dnno..
doubt it, since HaT is based on a bug =P
with a little more work put into it, it will be an option but i never think they will make sub the main raid spec

When was the last time you've seen a HaT rogue refusing to be in a raid with another HaT rogue, saying "no, we'll be exploiting a bug"? I'm pretty certain that all HaT-specced rogues don't care about the bug exploit as long as they're doing high damage

actually i can manage to get top dps on boss in my current raiding guild. Overall due to trash and being mutilate, other peeps get more damage.
but my invite to raid is safe even if some peeps can outdps me overall or on a particular fight.
4 things important for a raiding rogues
1. Enchant your gear, buy boe upgrade, gem your gear
Raid leader can take a look to your armory to see how much effort you put on your gear, also rogue are very gear dependant.
2. DPS the best you can
Maybe you will not be #1, but if you do good dps, you will be invited before other people that canMt dps very well even if they are well geared with a good class/spec
3. GET OUT OF THE FIRE !
the life of a raiding rogue is rude on a lot of fight were the raid take a lot of damage. know each strats, get out of area of effects or other damaging things. Good player will be invited before other.
Like on Heigan, dead ppl don't dps very well.
4. Play for fun.
If you play to be always the best, you are not playing the right game. Try play an RST or an FPS. All thing are even for everyone in these game. In wow, in a certain patch we can be #1 and in another we fall behind. You can always reroll and regear another class but why you choosed rogue first? Because it was a class you like.
If you rolled rogue to be #1 dps, then, reroll another class
Player who play for fun will have a better attitude than a player that is annoyed because his class can't be #1 dps.

TotT can be used on non-tank player to give them a 6 sec 15% bonus damage. Just wait a little bit so the tank can do some aggro and pop it on your best dps.
I oftenly use it on the other rogue in my guild and he do the same.
it help alot to be the #1 on dps meter. we done it last Patchwerk kill and everyone was like WTF rogue did you get a buff?
Also, it can be used in another way to be #1 dps. Look at the dps meter, put your focus on the #1, next time the tank pull, sprint, pop TotT, Cold blood and do an ambush on the mobs.

Work best on those Fury warrior :)
but i think we need a buff like Ferocious inspiration or someting like that that proc on crit and give the raid a bonus damage or something like that.

Erm... juz a personal opinion with regards to punkenjov's comment.
U can roll rogue to be the #1 dps but then you better be prepared to work for it. If you don't wanna work hard for it then roll another class...
yes, you are right
i can manage to be #1 on boss actually but im probably the best geared dps in the guild. I worked realy hard to be at this lvl.
but for that, i need to be focused at 110% on my rotation to keep HfB, rupture and SnD up.
I done a lot of research on rogue stuff.
i remember when i played a warlock in TBC. it was so simple to be #1. Put Curse on Element on boss, Press 1 until boss dead
Grats you are #1 dps. i remember that in a lot of raid i was listening TV during encounter spamming 1 and still managed to be #1.
I don't realy miss that time. But it was fun on hockey night. I was able to see my Canadiens during raids.
