It is how it is so while you may dislike it just plow through one. I found it moderately easy leveling blacksmithing and mining just out of the starter zone and then grind them up as i went through outlands/northrend.
The main problem for the crafting professions is usually the 250-300 hump. The mats are rather expensive atm on the ah on most servers and it takes a bit more of the mats to level to begin with.

the only problem with giving each dk 150 skill in any profession is that they would have to make a standard profession so you wouldn't be able to decide on your own which profession you choose, and what if you wanted to switch to a diff profession, they wouldn't give you 150 again nor would the chars who aren't dk's appreciate that

Ok I love my DK but the only prob I have is that if I want to start a prof I start at zero and have to abandon leveling and quest to go back and kill worthless low level for skinning or mine copper to get levels up
Waaaaaaa! Boo Hoo. Isn't it enough that you start out at level 55? Now you want to be handed professions already skilled up to 150 as well. Some people are just....Unbelievable. Don't you wan't to work for anything?
