I'm not really that interested in politics but given the state of affairs, I figure it might be interesting to hear what President Obama's plans for the future are.
Do you plan to listen to the State of the Union?

I'm thinking about it - Extra Cred. for history.
If I do end up watching it, I'm interested in what Obama has to say about the war in Iraq.

Right now.
He is discussing this right now on Fox.
You watch Fox news. That explains
everything!
But seriously, you had better go to therapy right now to undo the damage they've done.

Isn't Fox News a comedy network?

Yes, let's not turn this into yet another derailed thread. I like Fox News, and I am proud!
I think it was the same old speach he's been talking about for the past year. Nothing special in my opinion. He says he wants to cut spending, then says he wants to spend more. Very confusing.
I really do not want to debate here, though. Feel free to quote me, but I won't be responding to it anytime soon.
That's my opinion anyways :3

Didn't see a lot of real content in the 25 minutes that I saw (the end). A mention of nuclear de-proliferation, out of Iraq by August (2010???????), and something else that crossed my mind at the time. Not much else otherwise.
The content of the Republican response by the VA governor was expected.

I don't know, sounded like Obama has big plans to me. Here's the deal though - like he said, he can't wave a magic wand and make things happen (well, I guess he can issue an executive order like he did for one of the bills that the Senate blocked), Congress has to stop being so partisan and actually get things done. Course, both parties are going to point fingers at the other and say "They're the ones who are being stubborn", so I'm not really going to get into that further.
Anyways, I'm glad about the getting out of Iraq thing. We should have never been in there in the first place - all our attention should have been focused on Afghanistan, which is where the guys who actually caused 9/11 are hanging out. If that tape of Osami commenting on the underwear bomber is real, that means he's still out there and we have to focus more than ever on killing that POS.

You know, if you were to go down the conspiracy route, the guys who did it were hanging out, and still are, in America.
Either way, we shouldn't have gone into Iraq.

If Obama made speeches this successful more often he might actually be able to get things done.

Fox News is totally sensationalized. I prefer ABC or NBC.

City TV, CTV or Global news for us canadians ftw! But, glad your troops are finally being pulled out, instead of being sent home in pine boxes.
