As Holy, you become a gimped Retribution paladin.
Single target stuff. But it can be done -- I leveled 60-70 as Holy.
Stack +spell damage along with your +healing gear and you'll be good for soloing.

I ran holy from lvl 40 to around 56. I just kept a hard hitting 2h weapon and some dps gear (+str and +AP) and I could not tell much difference from when I was ret. spec'd.

I was holy from 25-80.
You just grab a bunch of mobs, pop Retribution Aura and Aura Mastery, plop down Consecrate, and heal yourself to their deaths.
EDIT: Aura Mastery wasn't around when I was lvl 25, but the idea of AoEing and healing still worked.

Anyway, while it's been said that necroed threads aren't usually bad, replying in them just for the sake of replying is indeed rather unnecessary necro'ing.
