i say #1 get recount
#2 go to a Major city and fight a target dummy.
#3 Fight the target dummy for exactly 2 minutes
#4 See your DPS
#5 equip the other weapon and fight for exactly 2 minutes
#6 See your DPS
#7 Equip the better one =)
But the tricky part is using the exact same spells
Edit: spelling

Gee Thanks for the Obvious answer... I was looking for a mathematical formula. There has to be one... the proposed answers still have indeterminable variables such as the randomness of critically hitting or not ... A formula that takes in weapon speed and stat values has to exist and I was hoping someone would have such a formula. Empirical data is the only true way to calculate best weapon combination. The beat on a dummy method for 2 minutes is a method that in theory still can be misleading and is inaccurate... but since no one has a formula that has proven which combination is better .. I guess hitting the dummy is probably the only method I can find....
Thanks again for the almost helpful answers.
Sumtaims on wepunz under teh part dat haz teh dmg numbrz, it sais DEE PEEE ESS. eef u want 2 calkulate teh DEE PEE ESS wifout akchually duing nethin, den get a calkulator and figur eet out.
- All the stats are on the weapon, equip it and look at your character sheet. If you really want a formula go to wowwiki and look it up, but it's a waste of time since it's already on the character sheet / weapon for you. -
