Someone help me with Physics Homework pl0x.
A cube with the volume of 8cm^3 is sinking at a rate of 3.0m/s2 in water, now I've calculated that the buoyancy is 0.80N upward (could be wrong), and I'm supposed to figure out the mass of the object based on this, but I don't think that's possible to find unless I know the gravitational force down.
Anyone see something I don't?
Known:
V = 8 cc
a = -3 m/s2
g = 9.81 m/s2
ρf = 1 g/ml
M = ?
In which case I believe you'd use the formula:
a = (gf*V - m])/(ρf*V + m)
...I'll let you solve for m :P
But, I haven't done any real physics for like 6 years, so I could be completely missing it.

Just wait. In 70 years when drop your solid gold dentures in the lake and can't figure out how fast it's sinking, you'll regret this day.

I probably could, but that doesn't mean I'd like it or want to do so. Besides, gold dentures are for noobs; caesium is what all the cool
kids
gramps have.

pffft Francium is clearly the best element. Add to water for best results.

Where else would we keep our assort collection graphing calculators, mtg cards, 14-year-old unopened condoms, He-Man comics, laser pointers, bootleg star trek dvds, 20-sided dice, and hacked apple devices?

I hate to sound like a Hipster, but the Raven, as good as the poem is, is like, really really mainstream.

Hating to sound like a hipster even though you do is really really mainstream too.
