Maybe they'll revisit the Inheritance Cycle...
And pass it off to some group of individuals who actually knows how to direct/produce/act/whatever else a movie needs.
I want to see it redeemed (and it'll probably end up being 5-8 movies)
Eragon
flopped so hard that I doubt anybody would really consider revisiting it. :P
You never know.
I can hope. The movie could've been so sad someone wants to make a better one =)

Why are Ariel, Belle and Rapunzel bustier than Aurora, Cindarella and Snow White? Ugh, especially Aurora, she's supposed to be magically gorgeous and should therefore have quite a rack on her.

Different artists I guess?

Because some princes are a** men? Also, the first 3 are more recent, and probably had better access to cosmetic surgery.

Why was Pocahontas almost 20 in the movie, while the one from the legend/tales was only 14?
Why did Ariel survive her movie?
Why was Sleeping Beauty not woken up by the birth of her first daughter?
Why was there only 2 attempts on Snow White's life instead of 4?
And why didn't the evil step sister mutilate their own feet?
Cause Disney wussifies the tales. As for why they are bustier: Dad bonus.

Really- sleeping beauty is woken up by childbirth. That's so screwed up.
Do you guys remember Fairy Tale Theater? They had some freaking hilarious interpretations of some of these.

Lol'd hard.
Also they sort of wussify the tales because you know, they're supposed to be for kids, and I guess the way they did it makes it more kid friendly.

Heres the history of our medicine.
"I have a sore throat."
2000 BC : "eat this root"
1200 AD : "That root is heathen, say this prayer."
1500 AD : "That prayer is superstition, drink this elixir."
1800 AD : "That elixir is snake oil, Take this pill."
1900 AD : "That pill is ineffective, Take this antibiotic."
2000 AD : "That antibiotic is artificial, Here why dont you eat this root."
So true.
(Especially the bolded part)

Because all of that would suck. Disney is for children, they don't need their lives ruined at 4 years old.
Well they were called the Grimm Tales for a reason....
Really- sleeping beauty is woken up by childbirth. That's so screwed up.Yup, the Prince raped the sleeping princess when he found her and she was gotten with child, which is what finally woke her up.
Lol'd hard.

Meh, it's the fact that people are starting to think the Disney versions are the original that makes me a little sad....

Unfortunately, that is so true.
Yup, the Prince raped the sleep princess when he found her and she was gotten with child, which is what finally woke her up.
That's just...sick.

No worse then Rapunzel; the witch finally figures out that someone has been visiting the girl when she asks her why her clothing is getting tight around the middle......which of course, involve said prince having his eyes ripped by the thorns and blinded till the healing tears of Rapunzel fixes them.....
Again, a lot of the 'real' fairy tales are pure nightmare inducing, and are meant as warnings, not cutesy little tales to tell your children.....

Well that's not disney. Who complains about movies for kids not being brutal...
ME! Since you know...Snow White's Witch falls off a cliff then get's a boulder dropped on her, Maleficent dies due Erik's sword in her chest, Ursual get's popped like a beach ball, Gaston falls to his death, Jaffar suffers a fate worse then death(TWICE!), Doc Falcier get's dragged off to the 'Other Side'(read, Hell), Mother Gothel dies as her age catches up to her...and the 'greatest' of all: Clayton from Tarzan falls into a mess of vines, get's them wrapped around him, tries to cut himself free and hangs himself....THEN YOU SEE IT AS A SHADOW BEHIND HIM!
Heh, that said, it's still sad how they get wussified.
And that reason was their authors' last name was Grimm =PQuiet you.
