It's sad when a good member of the forum goes bad for whatever reason. Seriously, if you want to stop coming here, there are better ways then getting yourself banned.
I never saw that user when/if they were a "good member". I only ever saw the bad and I've been moderator for almost a year now. Good riddance.

He's been like that the last, what, 10 times he visited here? I have no idea why he bothered.
its a strange tale.
=/ there was this one night several weeks ago, that there was a mundane discussion across this here thread.
He made a point, I quoted him, offering my counter to his point.
All good, no attacks were made, neither by him, nor by me. Then suddenly, another user (who's name I wont mention) quoted my post (ya know, the one were I responded to Saka) and added a racial insult.
Saka automatically assumed I really posted that (I edited my post to add a few extra lines) and just edited the insult out.
From that day on, no mater how many moderators told him to drop it, he would just not drop it. Honestly I dunno what else did he expected to happen when he suddenly felt the urge to quote me 14 times and add an insult all 14 times.
some people really can get creepy when it comes to grudges. Reminds me of that american basketball team that got upset over a foul decision on the Olympic games in the 70s.
It was undoubtedly a foul call, and they were right to be upset, but the thing is, to this day they are STILL upset about it. They refused to accept their silver medals all those years ago, and to this day, not one of them has accepted their silver medals, one of them even added to his Will that NOBODY in his bloodline will touch that filthy silver medal EVER.
Now that is carrying a grudge way past the healthy barrier.

IIRC, that game was against the Soviets. That's the reason right there.

One about something really inappropriate and childish.
Or well, that's what I'd do.
I was thinking maybe something to do with photography; maybe a place where people can share their photos, or maybe a how-to guide. I’m not sure if there would be much interest in that though. I know a lot of people here enjoy my
photos
but I’m not so sure that there are people here that are actually interested in
photography
.
If you look at the front page of Off-Topic, I have 3 big threads that have been mainstays for many months. I like making memorable threads. Help me think of something memorable.

yes it was, and it was one of the strangest calls I've ever seen in sport in my entire life. What a mess that was. Still, being upset about it for 40 years is kinda overkill. Soviets or not.

I'm not even going to pretend that I know what was going on (since I wasn't alive then), but there seem to have been a lot of hard feelings, and that call + the Cold War = bad things.
But again, not condoning it.

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa you've been a mod for just a year? That's odd man, I could had sworn you were a mod for far longer than that.
I've been lurking for almost as long as I've been a member. Never saw the good from that member either.
To be honest, prior to his personal campaign against me, I had never seen him before. Nor the other guy who REALLY started this whole mess. Then again, even though I've been a member here for 3 years and counting, I'm kinda new on the off-topic section and the bin.
Anyhows, lets talk about something happier.
YAY
Server transfers are coming for 1.3 on SWTOR. Thank the heavens for that, :S seriously, that Veela server is a GRAVEYARD.
For the past 3 days I've been THE ONLY PERSON ONLINE in all the planets I've visited. Nar Shadaa, Tatooine, Alderaan, all 3 and I was the only one person in there the entire time. That is just not right.

I've had a few good conversations with him here in the Bin....and a few fights too, but nothing like what he did against Rank.

What's funny is now that we're engaged, my whole family keeps asking about kids. How many, how soon, etc. We've told people that we're not having them, and no one seems to believe me. "But you love kids! You're so good with kids!"
I love ponies, and I'm very good with difficult customers, but I don't feel the need to have any of either to call my very own- lol.
I think at this point my family is just praying for my birth control to fail.
My girlfriend's mother asked me if we were having kids in the foreseeable future when I was over, once. She received an I'll-kill-you look from Julia and I received another one for joking (I'll emphasize the joking, here) about it - and coincidentally the mother is never home when I'm over anymore.
What is it with parents and their children having kids, exactly?
I know my uncle used to say that having kids was special, but having grandchildren was equally if not more special. I'm wondering if there's some truth to that, lol.
Are you kidding me? Having grandchildren is even better than having children. All the fun, none of the fuss. No diaper changing, no teen drama, all the happy moments, none of the sour ones xD.
Not that I'm in any particular rush for my annie to have any babies >_> the longer she takes to start dating, the better.
