Off-Topic is coming close to having the last month worth of threads on page 1. I remember when 24 hours went for 1.5 pages.

Well this is just great,
Japan gets a hot chick
whereas we get
a pedo clown
There is no justice.

I prefer pedo clowns to hot chicks.

Humm....... ok, while web-surfing I've just seen the most scary thing ever. I'm hesitant to link it here, I mean it doesn't have any nudity, and its more or less an indonesian comic about a girl finding a ghost...............
/sighs, was it really that scary? or am I now losing my nerve?

See what happens when I give a new user the benefit of the doubt? I thought he just hadn't gotten my email and was confused why his thread was disappearing so I decided to lock it with a note on the 4th post just to walk away and have him create 4 more new ones. I hate banning people but that's just the way it is sometimes.

hey sas, I got a question for ya.
See, someone passed me the link to this comic that is really scary, I must admit it scared the crap out of me, and well, I was wondering if it would be allowed to post it here (under spoiler tags, and with lots of warnings of course)
The comic doesn't really show anything explicit, its about (I think, I haven't fully finished reading it, its THAT scary) zombies, and frankly, anyone who's seen any romero movie, or Resident Evil movie, will see more blood than this comic will show
In other words, its not the image itself that's scary, rather the way it is presented that makes it unbelievably scary.
So, do I have your permission to post it?

Sorry Sas, should have used a different term then the one I did.
If it was the reply in the Bestwestern thread I thought you had the exact right word. Thorn works too though.

Right term, but still shouldn't have used it lol.

well, folks, to err on the side of caution I will not link the comic here, however if anyone here is feeling brave, go read this very short webcomic called "The Bongcheon-Dong Ghost" (google is your friend) and see if you can read it without getting scared even a little bit.
Warning, the comic IS quite scary even though it doesn't really show anything explicit, and most of the violence in it is what you'd find on your average resident-evil game.
Therefore, I feel compelled to warn to not read it if you suffer a heart condition.
Ye have been warned.
The comic itself is supossedly based on a real Korean urban legend, and its about a girl who returning home from school meets face to face with a REALLY CREEPY ghost/zombie (its never really clear) woman. The rest of the details I will not spoil.
Let the bravest one take the first step.

If you're posting it here in the RB and it's not full of worse than PG-13 language/violence then I don't see a problem with it. If you feel it's graphic then I would suggest a Disclaimer as you mentioned.

ahh, k.
WARNING, even though the imagery on the comic isn't really "that" bad, it will still scare the crap out of most people, so if you suffer from heart conditions, or are under the age of 13, DO NOT CLICK these links.
Here
is part 1 of the webcomic, it takes about 5 min to read fully. (Assuming you even got the guts to get to the ending)
Here
is a sequel to the same comic.
Warnings have been issued.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did (k, I didn't actually "enjoyed" them, as they nearly caused me to fall out of my chair, but after I finished reading them, I honestly thought they were brilliant horror comics. Most horror movie-makers should take some notes on how to ACTUALLY scare people from these 2 short pieces)
