Sorry for the double post, but on the advice of a friend I just read a paper called "Plains, Trains and Plantains: The Story of Oedipus Rex." I would recommend that anyone with a free moment google this- it's hysterical. It's a paper some guy wrote when he was high as a kite, and it's...interesting.... (Warning- Adult and vulgar language)

I think my favorite parts were page 3 and the works cited page. This was his response to me making him listen to "Why 11-Year-Olds Shouldn't Raid" which is a horror show of what happens when a child is ignored by his parents and raised by the internet instead.

A man can only justify his actions if he regards his demeanor with deductive thinking. This man was not Oedipus, mainly because he was a #$%^ing &*!@#$ bag
^Best quote, in my opinion. Though the "Works cited" was pretty amusing as well, lol. In fact, all of it was. And to think that he didn't get an F...

I laughed the most at how the teacher pointed at the holes on the right side and asked "Why?" and at the page with a red background. And at how at page 3, after "WHERE IS THE TEXT" he also added "
page is too big
". Oh my stomach.

I just noticed that a lot of my friends are having a generally bad summer, whereas I'm having an especially wonderful summer. How the tables have turned... I feel kind of bad, to be honest, and I feel that I can't really express my happiness without sounding like a jerk. How odd.
Thanks to your post I just realized I am having an amazing summer as well.
Heh, you're welcome? :P
That's good to hear, my friends plights are kinda depressing, to be honest...

So, I have some dates, some apples and some strawberry yoghurt. Is there anything good I can make out of that? Or are there any good dishes with dates in them?

I had a
really
bad pun pop into my head there, but I'll pass. Sorry, can't help you.

If you have cinnamon, you could core the apples, mix the chopped dates with cinnamon, stuff the apple and bake them. No use for the yogurt, though.
