Probably. It also may involve the usage of salt.

It was made famous by Jacksass: The Movie. We used to do it as torture to each other growing up. Needless it say, it's some of the most painful experiences I've ever endeavored.

Lombax reading the hobbit in swedish is the best thing to ever happen ever.
Out of curiosity: did they do a good job on the sweedish translation of that book? Because the spanish translation of both the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings SUCKS.
I mean seriously, who the hell translates Barliman Butterbur as "Cebadilla Mantecona"? (I'm not kidding, that's his name) or Eowyn's BADASS speech to the Nazgul right before she kills him into something nearly irrecognizable.
I had to go out of my way to secure an english hard-copy of each book to properly enjoy this saga.
So I'm curious if the translations for other languages managed to stay more faithful, or if they butchered the source material too....

Well this edition is printed in 1983 and not the slightest bit logical if you read it out loud. But no, the translation is pretty terrible.

So, doing some work on an essay about privacy, social media, and targetted advertising... it is astounding what these companies are allowed to do with your personal information.
Let's just say that I am so glad I'm not on facebook or twitter anymore. I probably won't ever be buying anything with a card from a major company anymore either. Cash only, if I can help it.

The day started out $%^&ty, then I had a customer of mine come in, and one of his buddies tags along. I'm talking to my customer on some of his business, and explaning things so he understands it. His buddy kept bugging me, and when I stopped giving him the time of day (or maybe it's when I told him to either sit down and stop talking, or leave) he started to get pissy. As I'm still explaining to my customer, his friend obviously didn't like the tone I was using (apparently when you have to sound professional it suddenly begins to sound @#$%^y) and he turns around and coughs *^&*!@* under his breath.
So I stop in midsentence, my boss comes out, my second boss comes out, and I say, "Did you just call me a $%^&*?" and the guy goes "Well I didn't call you a ^&*!@, because I respect you as a woman figure. You're acting like a ^&*!@ to my friend and it #$%^ing pisses me off." And I said, "I'm talking to
my
customer about
his
business, and it's not any of yours." Then he continues to call me a @#$%^, almost breaks the door, and ends up getting escorted out of the office by my boss.
tl;dr: Today has been terrible. Seriously. All I want is to 5 o'clock to come so I can pound back shots of Jager and wipe in MV all night long.

Sounds like a pain Rystrave, hope MV goes well for you. Or at least funnily :p
Anyone know how to make a poll? I'm a ZAM member now, so should be able to.

The guy was an asshat. MV probably won't go very good since we're having attendance issues. Anyway.
When you go to create a new thread, it's right below the title box and right above the text box. Says "Create a Poll."
