Check the rules.
I just did...... apparently there is a loophole in the law: ASCII is "apparently" allowed in the bin.
Now that I am armed with that knowledge, I have to go dig up my old ASCII art pics for when I need them.

I have been in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, England, Cyprus, Luxembourg, USA (states are: Florida, Idaho, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, Nebraska, Illinois and Washington D.C (which isn't state but...) and Austria. And now I realiced that I'm afraid of flying...
Not bad. Out of curiosity, did you find much of a difference between different parts of the US, being a fellow foreigner and all? I've been to NY, Washington, LA, and San Diego in the US and besides Washington looking like a toy town I didn't find them any different. They're all big cities, though. Train journey between NY and Washington was quite interesting on the other hand, one minute you've got large areas of abandoned factories and industrial areas, then the next you go past the kind of typical American suburban neighbourhood (to a foreigner) with houses in neat rows all painted the same colour with immaculate lawns. Curious contrast, I'm sure you could wring some deep social commentary out of it.
Sweden (live in), Denmark, Norway, Finland (lived in), Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, France, UK (lived in), Spain (plus Canary Islands if you feel like counting them separately), Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey and USA here, for the places I remember well. If you add places I was to when I was younger and don't remember as well or not at all that'd be Malta, Greece, Côte d'Ivoire (born in) and some more places in eastern Europe.

Those are all big cities, Izichial. You need to visit a small po dunk town in Texas, and have some BBQ. Compare that to NYC.

At parties I throw...
I still remember a function that a colleague and I were both at. We were talking about WOW and what we were currently doing. All of a sudden, one of the other participants there asked, "What is it you are talking about?" When the answer was WOW, he looked at us and said, "You do not fit the demographics I think of for WOW players."
The colleague and I were both right near 50 at the time and the one who questioned us was in his 20s. Made for an interesting view.

Happened to me several times when I've been out drinking with friends who also played WoW at some point and the game comes up in a conversation and some random drunk 40+ guy leans over and asks if we play and then proceeds to mention proudly how he made it to max level on x amount of chars and then adds some short incoherent rant about changes to the game. About half of the people I know who played were either multi season glads or did some world top level PvE so we just smile and nod. :9

I love all my south korean friends ragequitting at american media.
Too bad
S Korean news
says the exact same things as American media. But you get points for the silly anti-American bias. It's very vogue. You get a thousand trendy points, and all the cool kids think you're totally rad.

don't pretend like you approve of all american media either
No, Elura. I approve of every single American news outlet, like I said I do (sarcasm). Seriously, why do you make stuff up?Reporting on something isn't the same as getting people riled up.
And don't pretend like you approve of all american media either. I'm sure if anyone gave a *!@# about swedish media it would be worse since it's all about "experts" (aka people who know nothing) talking about how jong eun "must be thinking".
Swedish
Turkish
British
French
Russian
South African
Name a country, and I'll give you the news article out of that country detailing the North Korean threat.
They all say the same thing. North Korea is threatening to nuke the US, and the US is setting up defensive measures.
But, it's just American media fear mongering, right? You are blinded by your own bias. What makes it worse, is that there IS something to fear with North Korea, and US bases, and US citizens, and Japan and their citizens, and South Korea, and their citizens, are in a heightened sense of danger. I don't know about your friends, but this is important to a lot of people in those areas of the world. I have no idea why you want to downplay this, except for your anti-American bias. It's so silly.
