I just had a lady come back to my office after being gone for an hour because she left her paperclip on my desk. Sure, it's a nice purple one but it's not worth driving all the way back here o_o

So............ I wanted to wait till I actually had it before announcing it (Don't wanna count the chickens before they hatch) but I WON A COPY OF WITCHERS 2 ENHANCED EDITION BABY!!!!!!!!!!
=D
And all I had to pay for it was a meager 300.000 Bolivares, which, while a strong amount of cash, is nothing compared to how much non-pirated games sell for in the black market here (with games going anywhere from 900.000 to A MILLION AND A HALF bolivares each). It was part of a contest in a colombian website, which I entered thanks to one of my 2 best friends who lives there. As luck would have it, I won, and the game will be arriving here in 2 days.
As I wanna prepare for it, I need the help of anyone who's played and finished Witcher 1. That game never made it to venezuela, so I'd like a summary of the plot in that game. As detailed as you can manage. Thror, you're as far as I'm concerned, the witcher expert on this here site, so if you're reading this, please post me a summary of the plot of the first game.
With as many details as you can include please.

He's got a point; for every person with an actual medical issue that does cause them to gain weight, you have 9 others who just seem to enjoy shoveling food into their mouths, with no real thought to just what they are doing to themselves. When you are as wide as you are tall(and I've seen them, and it wasn't due to health issues...well, as in ones from nature). you know there might be a issue.

Exactly. The fact that we need ambulances, cranes and all other kinds of medical expenditure just because somebody can't control their diet, is frankly quite ridiculous. Obesity is not just a problem for the individual, it hurts society as well.

And humanity as a whole are very petty people who harp on any and all imperfections.
I know it's not a concern of mine, but it's hard to not feel sorry for some people; especially after watching my step father kill himself through smoking and horrible eating, when he finally passed away, he was on oxygen, he couldn't move on his own, and he had suffered multiple heart attacks.
Also: I have no issue with someone with some extra pounds on them; I like big girls and I will not lie.

It is a concern when I'm paying for them getting treated (repeatedly) for something that's their own fault.

So? People are perfectly allowed to eat as much as they want, and weigh as much as they want. No one needs you to tell them they can't or that they are not healthy. Their health is no concern of yours and honestly, when people bring up the health issue it's often just a disguise because they themselves find overweight unattractive.
Heavily disagree there sweetie.
Just as Anorexia is a horrible condition, so is obesity. Its bad to eat too little, and its bad to eat too much. Worrying about someone's health doesn't automatically correlates to finding their extra weight unattractive.
My dad suffers from obesity, and its all because he lacks the self-control to regulate how much he eats, which is why he weights almost 170 kilos. This IS unhealthy, and its not opinion, that's medical fact. As a result of his overweight, he suffers from cardiac problems, back problems, lack of breath, excessive tiredness, and can't even tie his own shoes without my mom helping him.
You think that's an ideal lifestyle?
Just as we reprimend people overshooting themselves with cocaine, as they are slowly killing themselves, just as we reprimand people puking everything they eat in an obsessive attempt to keep losing weight, as they are also killing themselves, we must also reprimand people overstuffing themselves with food, because they too are slowly killing themselves.
Its what Azazel said: "
And I'm not talking about those packing just a few extra kilos, like 3 or 5 or whatever, we don't have to conform to ridiculous beauty standards obviously
." There's nothing wrong with our bodies, we don't have to have barbie-doll bodies, or chiseled sculpted six-pack chests, to be considered beautiful. But there's a HUGE difference between not being ashamed of your body, and another by hurting it by overloading it with food, or any other substance.
All things in excess are bad. Food included.
There's no bodyshaming in stating that simple truth.
Me? I am fat, and no I'm not ashamed of that, however my weight is still well within the ranges of safety for a man of my age and height, so its all good and dandy. If I were to weight 300 kilos however, that's where I'd have to admit I have a problem. Not because of how I look, as I am not a sheep following the beauty standards of some weirdos in the fashion industry, but because such a weight carries with it A LOT of health problems. In your circulation, respiration, muscle-mass, bone mass, and more.
Ditto if I starved myself till I was weighting 30 kilos.

The obesity rate in Denmark is about 10%. That's one out of every ten people.
Anorexia is a serious mental condition. Eating too much and not excersising is not.
Just for reference, I'm not exactly skinny either. Not fat, but removing a kilo or 2 around the stomach would be nice. But I lift (a lot) so my weight is probably just gonna go up.
