Yes it was, you specifically targetted me with that comment. I explained what a particular subreddit is for. I didn't even come up with the word hamplanet, it's just one that is commonly used on that sub. Perhaps I should have been more specific and said what
they
consider fat people and hamplanets.
And Nathanyal, people don't always need to say something for people to know what they are thinking. It's a society thing.
Wat. Just wat.

And humanity as a whole are very petty people
On TV maybe lol.
Where did they say this? Because I haven't read it anywhere.
I'd explain to you but you like the phantom menace.
Nice argument.
Now maybe you can act grown up and come up with a reasonable response.
First apologize to society in general for liking the prequel trilogy.

If someone is huuuuge but healthy, you can't just assume they're not and go "im corncerned about their health" when in reality we all know you just think it's unattractive.
Why else would people always complain about overweight girls not covering themselves up? That is not about health.
People complain about overweight girls covering up because media %^&* makes people think that skinny is in, and if you don't fit that god awful skin and bones look, with the ribs showing, you aren't attractive.
I love a woman with curves and meat on her bones, and I always have; give me a chick with a giant hips and I'll be a happy man.

I don't think ^&*!ed up beauty standards excuses people being $%^&*!@s, but it is def a part of it.
Also good job shaming skinny people now instead... really though, Adamsm?
I'm not saying it excuses anything.
And sorry, but I don't find those incredibly skinny types at all attractive; to me, ribs and bones do not make women somehow more beautiful then those who have healthy figures.
Working on the RMV you realize just how much it's not.
We're a pretty petty race.

It is a concern when I'm paying for them getting treated (repeatedly) for something that's their own fault.
This exactly, I think the problem stems from stuff like the "big is beautiful" campaigns, try to improve people's self esteem. Before any one jumps on me for "bodyshaming" I believe that everyone should feel happy with their own body, but teaching people it's okay to be obese is wrong, in the same way it is wrong for people to be extremely underweight. It's not doing them any real benefit, and it is causing a strain on the taxpayers who have to support them. And I can guarantee you that they would feel better, both physically and mentally, if they lost some weight. This isn't about people with medical conditions, this is about the 90% of obese people who are fat because they have been told it's socially acceptable.
I was overweight (6'4" ~270lbs at my heaviest) but actually put in the effort and got myself down to a healthy 180 lbs (12 miles of biking every day for 8 months), then due to stress and other factors, i dipped down to 153, im back up around 180 again now, but I have experienced both sides of this. It's not because I find overweight people unattractive, its that I think its sad that people choose to be unhealthy, because no one told them there is a better way to live.
I felt so much better at 180 than i did at 270, more energy, generally happier, more willing to try new things, it's not because I got made fun of before, I was a popular kid through high school and my first year of university, while being overweight, but honestly I think the most positive change in my life has been losing that 90 pounds.
As a side note, I got plenty of "you're way too skinny, it doesn't look healthy" comments, but never a "you are too fat." Honestly, I wish people told me I was too fat before, it would have given me a reason to change my lifestyle earlier, I would have gotten a head start on a positive change.

Just seems like you're trying to avoid the discussion by saying how lame you think my comments are, is all.

Could say you are doing the same thing by pulling "personal attacks" out of mid air.

I'm just trying to imagine the reactions somebody would get if they said they didn't want their taxes to pay for somebody's aids treatment because it was "their own fault".

What the hell is a joey?
Hax you're australian, you know this.
A Joey is what a baby Kangaroo/Wallaby is called.
FUN FACT! Roos/Wallabies have a thing called Diapause where they can have a foetus developing in the pouch and have a fertilized and ready to go egg in their fallopian tubes. This means that if something were to happen and the Joey dies (or if it just matures enough to leave the pouch) then they can have another Joey implanted into the pouch.
So basically, if there's a drought or something, a female can freeze an embryo until the drought is over.
