Drop JC for Alch?

Right now i have JC at 206 and mining at 375. I am thinking about dropping them for herb/alch. I am waiting for my friend to catch up to me at 70 before i hit Northrend so i have some prof grinding time to waste. I am DK planning on doing some tanking in Northrend. So would this switch b worth it? making money end game is not my main focus, its mainly utility purposes.
