I'd like to see Starfall become a targeted, channeled AOE spell
NOOOOOOOOOOOO nevar!
atleast i wouldn't mind having to target an enemy, and set starfall to hit them and every1 around that target, while u go off doing other stuff. would be nice.
and an upgrade to hurricane animation kthx.

I personally like Starfall the way it is. IDK about Hurricane.

I would like to see Starfall not hit CCed targets.

I'd imagine if they were to change things, it would be the other way around - starfall becomes the fire and forget (but targeted), leaving hurricane as channeled. Simple reason for this is that all the non-balance druids are going to abuse it. I know that I'd use it for tanking, or feral DPSing certainly... pop a hurricane before a pull, extra threat/DPS essentially for free.

Right now Starfall is fire and forget and Hurricane is channeled.
You want to turn Starfall into channeled and Hurricane into fire and forget.
Anybody see the point in that? I sure don't. Also, it would be OP. You could use Hurricane on every single fight and gain tons and tons of free dps from it. Bad idea. To make it work Hurricane would have to get a cooldown and the cooldown on Starfall should in turn be removed then (no point in having one if it's channeled anyway).
But if you do that ... why not also swap their positions in the spellbook? And in the talent tree? And then swap their names.
Voila, we have balanced and well implemented spells. That would be an awesome change!

Essentially, you like the way Starfall looks and want it to essentially "swap places" with Hurricane in function, role and availability?

Death and Decay
anyone? Seriously all they would have to do would be lower the damage on hurricane a bit. Problem solved.

Personally, I prefer Starfall's non-targetted nature. It makes it easier to cast for me without interrupting my other rotations because it doesn't require a click to target it.

Starfall would become virtually useless as a channelled spell. It already does less dps than other options for the same gcd on a single target and risks spraying unintentional damage. It's already pretty nice as a PvP option though, because the enemy isn't really alerted/focused to the Boomkin's presence.
Regarding visual effects, mages have some really nice damage spells with virtually zero visual effects. Hurricane says, "come kill me, I'm the weakest player on the battlefield." Typhoon is OK, but Shaman knockback is better, because you never really see it coming or where the totem is.
Fire and forget Hurricane would be nice, but would blow the dmg per cast time budget and Blizz prolly wouldn't allow it (OP).

i would like to see a more attractive hurricane graphic...why not a swirling torrent of winds around the channeled area
if you've done FoS on the ptr i'm thinking a miniature nature version of
James Brown's
Soulstorm
but more grey/white to resemble winds, same effect as hurricane just a much more attractive
graphic
the only good thing about the hurricane graphic is you know how many adds are left in all the aoe spells by the number of lightning bolts each tick
