I have a 7 button mouse. Lifebloom and rejuv are bound to my thumb buttons for one click casting. Regrowth is #1 on my action bar and my wheel click is set to healing touch. I only have a NS+HT macro. Wild growth is #2, nourish is #3 and swiftmend is a find a click (#0) I think. Healing as a resto is basically macro free.

Damn! I'm also getting a inf button mouse now, I hadn't thought about it before. Haven't really run out of space on my bars yet since I'm not 80 yet and don't have Nourish, but I guess I'll hit that wall soon enough.

Could you post your NS+HT macro please? =)

Is it something like?
# /cast Nature's Swiftness
# /stopcasting
# /cast Healing Touch

I think the macro is simply

/cast Nature's Swiftness
/cast Healing Touch

lol but if you are running you have to mash it a few times because of the can't cast while running, but maybe if I added the /stopcasting that would fix it. But I use it. lol

Before they swung the nerf bat at macros and downranking, I had a HT macro that would cast the appropiate ranked HT depending on the amount of health the target needed. Man I loved that thing. It made pre-bc healing so much better. I even made priest and pally ones for my guildies. Sigh!

I don't care for the new macro system, so I never learned its ins and outs.

Hey, I bet you could use the same idea as the mouse over lacerate macro tanks use. Especially with that seven button mouse.

/cast Lacerate

only customize it for all your healing spells, make the HP bars visible and all you have to do is mouse-over the HP plate and hit a button. Won't even have to target anymore.

just keybind ur macros (requires addon) but then again if your using addons u'll have healbot... but it'd still be sweet! lol

Yea I don't use addons except outfitter. I am so use to targeting healing, I can't see changing because I am so good at it. All my guild tanks including my guild leader(main guild tank) and his wife (healer), are amazed at my ability to heal better then those with healbot. Once I learn I fight, I know exactly where damage is going, before it gets there, and heal accordingly. Honestly, after healing like this since pre-bc for over 103 played days, I am afraid of changing healing styles.
