Paladins and druids are the only true hybrids ( tanks, dps and healer ). I never played a paladin but here's my experience as a druid.
I leveled my druid as feral and stayed feral trough all BC ( had some experiences with resto but I was'nt very interested ).
PvE was quite fun, I loved bear tanking and cat dps was not bad at all. I was very satisfied with feral druid farming power: grab 8-9 mobs,
swipe them out, heal, loot, repeat.
PvP was also a whole lot of fun, Feral pvp gameplay is deep and requires the full use of bear form, cat form and caster form.
But with wrath, I took the chance to experience resto. Another surprise, I love resto gameplay. The hots rotation in dungeons and raids can be very dynamic ( probably more after the Wild Growth nerf ).
Feral PvP changed a bit but with the lack of resillience in battlegrounds, I am one of the most powerful opponent in battlegrounds and arenas with a Mut rogue and fast paced and insanely fun.
So, I am now a full swiss knife, I can tank, heal or dps any dungeons or normal raids. Heck, some groups are even paying my respec so I can join their group.
This is my experience as a druid but I am quite sure a paladins can do all those things as easy as me, just ninja everthing in dungeons. ;)
