Hey all!
I'm somewhat-new to this concept, but it's something I want to learn about. I love the idea of being able to make my own 2v2 team (maybe 2 aff warlocks or something...), but I don't know much about dual boxing. I know that you have to have 2 wow accounts, and that you have to have a program allowing your keybinds to go from one application to another. Besides this, I know... jack. So... is it required to have more than one computer/monitor? What else do I need to know? Thanks!

1. I wouldn't mind spending the $$ once I get more info for 2 accounts
2. It would accomplish something
3. You didn't answer my question... thanks for your downtrodden views...

I think what Laue was trying to get at is the fact that you might be more effective than a single player, but you would be better off finding a similarly skilled and geared player to do 2s with.
It isn't necessary to have multiple computers or monitors, but it does help. Just for fun, I once ran two trial accounts as dual-boxing, just to see if it was possible on my machine. I had one running on my main screen, and the other running on my second screen. However, the program I ran it with could also handle a PiP, so I could (if I so chose) have a smaller window showing the second account's screen. If your computer can't handle two copies of WoW running simultaneously and you have a second that can handle a copy, there are programs that will send it to the other, although you may see a bit more latency if you use that sort of dual-boxing.
