Hands down.

Was on par with a rogue with almost full epics and i was in blue quest rewards/blue heroic gear.
That was in naxx.

as dual wield dk you should get 5 points in necrosis and 3 in blood caked blade, also as you dual wield i suggest not to use frost strike, since death coil does way more damage.

gargoyle scales with your AP, an extra 1k+ dps is negligable damage? Since when do gargoyles do 1k DPS?

These are my two versions of my DW frost spec. Works GREAT if you know the rotation. With the Death Runes from Blood Strike, Icy Touch becomes your main dmg, and this does amazing damage. Howling Blast also a staple of the diet with the free-cost. My real question is...

5 points into Impurity? (25% additional spell damage from attack power)

OR

5 points into Tundra Stalker? (Spells and abilities do 10% additional damage to those affected with frost fever. Also increases expertise by 5)

I'd go ahead and assume Tundra Stalker. But then again, I don't know the conversions for spell damage from attack power... so if someone could help me out here, that would be great. Oh, if anyone wants a more detailed description of my rotation, I'll give it. Haven't been out dps'd yet, and I've never seen anyone else with a good DW spec yet, so I figured I'd share the wealth. I already have convinced 2 DK's I've run with to switch based on my deeps in the group. :D

Hey I just respeccd to what you suggested to try something new. What rotation do you use? icy touch > then > ?

Oh really? So you are telling me that 4,000-6,000k frost strikes are NOT greater than 2,500-4,000k death coils?

lol....What, are you in greens and blues or something? Frost Strike > Death Coil, at least if you have decent gear

frost strike hits harder yes, but a 32/39 spec deals more damage overall from what is seen, though the patch is 3 days old and a bit of work needs to be done.

Well after 3.1 this WHOLE spec is *!@#ing dead. THANKS blizzard. howling blast is now 50 points, buried in frost. Blizzard has officially killed all DW specs.

This thread was dead before you resurrected it, too.

DW's been dead unless you want to try the new UH DW build.
