Purchasing heirlooms if you have a main.

I got a resto set fairly easy through quest rewards from 80 to 85. But then again, I already had ICC gear for the "basic" set ...

I'm feral/resto to (tank/healer, cause I don't like dps so much) and it's hard and not hard to get the gear.

Till 80 I had 4 pieces that were in both specs (1 int gear in tank spec and 3 tank gear in healing spec) but that didn't make a difference at all for dungeons, I never had any complained as tank or healer.

After that, I quested and you get your new gear fairly fast.
The only problem will be when you become 85. It will take you a long long time before you'll get both t11 sets and even longer to have full raid-gear, but for me it's worth it.

Thank you for this input, I was wondering what was going to be the easiest way to attain gear.
