I use Wind Fury on both weapons usually. It seems my damage is higher that way. I think it's because generally when I use Lava Lash, Windfury proc's.

FT with 5/5 ele fury really starts pushing out nice numbers once you get your spell crit up. Because the switch from WF/WF to WF/FT can be very dependant on your gear, the best way to know is to just do trials on a training dummy and see what gives you the most dps.

I remember reading on Elitistjerks that after crunching the numbers, slow/slow with WF/WF out-dps'd slow/fast with WF/FT right up until you had ridiculous amounts of spell power.
The posting escapes me right now, but the end result stuck with me.
