When you move from 2h to dual wield, your goal is to focus on abilities that are not based on your weapons' listed damage. That's why frost is the most frequent deep tree for DW. Howling Blast and Icy Touch do the same damage regardless of your weapon, whereas blood strike, plague strike, Obliterate, Scourge Striket, et al are based on your weapon's listed damage, so a 2h does more damage than a 1h...

I personally have found much better results in a Tri-spec for DW.
Something more like:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfV0VZG0ex0xbRhoZfMohxcoL
There is no need to go down to Frost Strike since it is base off of weapon damage. HB will be your big damage along with your white hits.
+hit is the stat you will be working for, however the 26% miss as listed above is only for your OH, so you can cap you MH with 9% and i believe your spells at 12% which will be more important then you OH. Your OH is just there to get the procs from your talents and your runeforge of Ciderglacier.
Your weapons seem alright, haste would be your 2nd stat you would want to build as more haste means more procs and procs are what you need to really build that DPS up.
Just so you know, i have been DW for about a month now and have cleared all Heroics and all 10 man content the whole time being #1 on DPS with an avg of 3k dps, so it is very much a viable spec if you enjoy it.

I am working towards getting:
MH
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40407
(Which i will have to try and fill a spot in someones 25 man to pick up off of trash)
OH

I noticed Croz didnt put any points in talents which give Death runes. are they not important for a DWer?
Right now, not really because HB have a cooldown. But next patch it gonna be important to turn the 2 blood rune into death rune to use an extra HB.

It's actually argueable, the death runes can be used for icy touch in unholy presence, icy touch being that it crits off of killing machine procs and is unmitigated means more damage. :D
Now as for hit rating, I stated in another forum that you don't need to hit melee hit rating cap which is 28% without talents (25% with talnets in DK frost tree) you do need 14% without virulance to hit raid cap (shadow priest or other classes that grants the misery type debuff needed) or 13% with a dreanei in the raid,
any hit rating after that is less then a .5% dps gain, which will gimp your dps.
after 14/13% hit rating you want to start stacking crit/haste.
For the sake of the arguement, I will link the combat table in Wowwiki
http://www.wowwiki.com/Attack_table#All_melee_attacks_from_behind
The combat table
As you see you won't be crit capped for a long while, only when you touch crit cap you'll actually need the hit rating. Atm, how ever you'll do better with haste, which in turns gives you more strikes, more strikes means more crits, more white crits means more killing machine procs, meaning better scaling. Haste also helps some global cool-down (not much) and helps other procs like bcb, it's also nicer on itemization. :D
