Echo of Elements proc rate

Seen in a blue post today over on MMO-Champ: Echo of the Element’s proc chance is 6% for Elemental and Restoration, and 30% for Enhancement.

This should come pretty close to the 5% haste offered by Ancestral Swiftness and Elemental Mastery. For elemental, they're all pretty close together depending on which serves you more, 20 seconds of burst, an instant cast once a minute, or RNG. I'm less confident about restoration, since a duplicated big heal may wind up being overhealing. Sure it's more HPS, but also technically more HPM as well. The question is how useful it will be. I don't know offhand what percentage of Enhancement's DPS comes from spells, so I couldn't comment on which is better there. But the exchange of 1% haste = 1% more DPS that casters get isn't true for Enhancement.

This tier is pretty lame for Enhance cause our haste only buffs passive damage, we don't get more actual abilities from haste like ele/resto get more dps spells or heals. Our main abilities are melee, but we do have a decent amount of spells as Enhance with LB and ES, plus the Elem Blast talent if you get it.

For Enhance, the obvious choice is echo of elements, unless you in a raid fight where you need timed burst and then maybe elem mastery might be better, but we get alot of DPS out of echo of elements especially when combined with either unleash fury or elem blast.

For Resto or Elem, it's prob better to get one of the other talents. I think for Elem most will go elem mastery for a mini bloodlust, and resto will go ancestral swift for a free heal every minute. Controlled burst is better for caster dps but especially heals so you get heals when you need it, echo is RNG so not very useful as a healer.
