Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Haste is not important for PvP, unless you have some pretty high amounts of it, but even then the contribution will be minimal at best. Don't forget to pop thunderstorm, now that they are removing (?) the knockback from it, itll make a nice addition to your arsenal.

For PvP? In a nutshell, no. You really don't need hit. If you're gearing for PvP, then crit >= SP > everything else. You want to maximize your burst damage as much as possible.

I've already said the knockback IS a bit too OP in BGs, but it'd be ideal to transform it in a 3-5 sec incapacitate. It even makes sense. Electric shocks stun / incapacitate people, they don't send them flying away.
I beg to differ......I stuck a butter knife into a wall socket when I was 5 and I got shot across the room...true story. Look it up. Hehe.
But I like the knockback. It is a bit OP but frostshock/ Thunderstrike/ earthbind/ Flameshock/ lavalash/ chain lightning/ frostshock/ lighting bolt/ chain lightning is a sight to behold. Akin to revenge, this is a dish best served cold. Take that Death grip! Suck on that shadowstep! Eat this Mangle! I don't know if Im just extremely lucky, but that blast back has saved my tuchus several times over, and i really enjoy playing as Ele.

......I don't agree with this hit is a NEED for arena... Trying to shock that holy light to win the game? MISS. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU..... You get the idea.
You can't burst if you can't hit something ;)
