I've been reading over the guides and can't seem to get a clear reading on what kind of weapons i should be using. I keep hearing that enhance are using caster maces and even on Ghostcrawler's upcoming class changes post, he said that Enhance would not be using caster weapons. Currently using Windwalker blade and Laquered Lung-Leak Longknife. So what am i misssing?

Well, if you want to play it simple just use slow (2,6speed) normal melee weapons and WF/FT.
But currently caster maces like
this
are better than equal ilvl normal melee weapons, if you use FT/FT due the fact that ~60% of our damage comes from spells and we benefit a lot from our mastery. Personally I'm using caster mace in my mainhand and slow fist as my offhand, and i'm pulling around 13k dps on raid target dummy.
But as GC informed, they are probably going to change something and we are being forced back to use WF/FT and melee weapons "soon".

We're meant to be using two slow 1H weapons. Caster weapons are a "going to be fixed in a future hotfix" item at the moment, much like it was when Naxx lvl80 was endgame content.
If you can easily get your hands on a good caster mainhand, and you have the tools available to make sure you're doing better DPS with it than an AGI mainhand, go for it... however, I wouldn't really bother with it personally...

Not to be too tangential, but I'm actually hoping that this "fix" will include a fix to our Hit setup.
Why is it that we get a boost to our Melee Hit from going Enhance? Wouldn't it be more useful to get a boost to our Spell Hit? I know the idea may sound preposterous to some -- especially, to Casters who see us as Melee only -- but the fact is that Shamans, unlike other melee classes, use spells as their attacks. Or, why not just make it so that all of the usual abilities simply work in melee mode, with an equal amount of Hit as any other Melee class?
Guess it just makes me feel singled out that we need so much more hit than, say, a DK, Warrior or Paladin. It's a real pain. In a sense, Enhance has been the "bastard spec" of Shamanism for a long time, and largely the reason why Blizzard couldn't balance us against Paladins in the first place.

We get +hit from specializing in enhancement because we dual wield, giving us a base 27% miss chance for auto attacks against a boss mob. I don't think + spell hit would push us to caster weapons, since spell hit was never a consideration when using one. DKs get
spell hit
from talents/specializations.
Balancing against other classes isn't a issue right now, we're doing decently compared to other specs. Paladin vs Shaman in vanilla was about our utility spells, ankh vs divine intervention (wipe recovery), purge vs cleanse (offensive dispell vs def), pally buffs vs totems, etc. The two classes had similar functioning spells in almost every department to keep them balanced against each other.

You guys do realize that caster weapons were hotfixed with much much lower damage specs on them, so using caster weaps are completely out of the question now?
The weapon dmg wasn't enough by itself. Using a caster weapon myself with the FT glyph gives
me
approximately the same dps as an agil weapon and WF/FT, self buffed.
