Wait for HFP (if you're not there already), get the mail caster gear from the quests, and respec elemental. Level as elemental until you get Lava Burst, then respec again. You'll need that practice for soloing as resto, even if it'll only be for a few levels.
At least, that's what I did.

you can heal ANY nonheroic as an offspec if you maintain a decent healing set. Period.
