BG's don't count, you feast on undergeared noobs. You run into any competent pvper with a 2hander who has gear and he will eat you alive. It's sickeningly fun if you face an undergeared cloth wearing noob, but DW does more damage in the long run, and you don't have as much of an RNG factor.

Bloodthirst means nothing after the TB lootfest as far as skill is concerned.
2h'er vs dual wield is answered with two words: Lava Lash. 2h'ers also give you fewer MW procs with means less LBs, heals, and instant hexes.

2h'ers is always fun when WF procs and you're smacking a clothie. But when you get a WF dry spell, it really is meh.
Run a BG with a guild healer who sticks with you and you'll be impressed how much dmg you'll do XD. More often than not, the player with the most dmg done is the one with the fewest deaths.

That was my point. Most people are running around in Bloodthirst so it is not like he was over gearing them.
This was my point, Most people are not in full bloodthirst with vicious gear. Secondly, you don't normally see healers or cc in random bg's it's kill or be killed. Shamans have a lot of burst in that regards with no healer, undergeared guys, a great weapon, and a semblance of skill you can roll bg stat sheets up. You run that in a premade and some guy will make you look like you haven't pvp'd before.
The benefit of dual wield isn't just what has listed above, but you get to put frostbrand on your weapon and use many very nice buffs because of it. 2Hand is a one trick pray for a windfury pony - it's a blast to do, but can get you killed against a competent player.
