Enhancement Heirloom Question
Return to board index
I'm currently leveling a shaman as enhancement and have reached level 40. I'm now able to dual-wield though am holding off on doing so until I have the + hit talents. My question is that I've been using the
Bloodied Arcanite Reaper
thus far with amazing damage, we're talking 1k damage in a global when the RNG stars align. So, if I've no intention of grinding emblems for heirloom one-handers, will the one-hand weapons that I find along the way out do the damage of the Reaper when dual-wielded?
Even if the Reaper still out does the damage, my intent, I suppose is to dual wield anyhow as, well, I want to truly experience the full fury of a shaman. Mostly just curious, mostly...
Simply put, DW'ing is going to be a lot more damage and a lot more efficient than using that big hunking axe. I highly recommend grinding for the two extremely slow hierloom one-handers. You're really going to feel the pain when you get Shamanistic Rage/Lava Lash.

To support the two people above, get the 2 one-hand heirlooms. I went with Reaper to 40 and then greens past that and it was night and day around 44 or so when you get stormstrike.
Thank you all for the responses, and will do!
