Eyes of the Beast?

So yeah, I just started leveling a hunter.
I remember some time back that I had a dwarf hunter, and the spell Eyes of the Beast was simply the best spell ingame. I could run around as my pet for hours having a blast.
But now as I just hit 26 I started thinking "when am I gonna learn eyes of the beast?" and then I checked the spellbook, and I'm either blind, or blizzard removed the spell?
In that case, why did they remove it?
It left me really sad...

They removed it during the Cataclysm Patch. This was mainly because we've got a new moving function for pets with the Move To skill in their spell books and, unlike Eyes of the Beast, was available to every pet class instead of just hunters, meaning Warlocks, Unholy Death knights and Frost Mages could use it to.

I just realized this week that they removed it /sadpanda
I didn't use it often but when I did it was really helpful...don't see any reason for removing it :/

Because moving a pet way over there is just as good. Right?
Moving pet to a spot is no different to have pet on follow really. I mean you cant jump with Move pet.
There is a trick to avoid your pet pulling whole corridor when you do shortcut. Get a cat/spirit beast and use prowl.

Move replaced stay, shouldn't have made any difference on 'eyes of the beast

Yeah, it got tossed out in 4.0.1, yet warlocks kept Eye of Kilrogg...
I would like to see that make a return, personally.
Agreed. I'd almost even trade in the ability to move around pets at will!
