this is what popped up after sitting at 0% for over 2 hours on the re-configuring files window. I click OK and it closes, I found that it did a new launcher shortcut and the old one is useless. So I deleted the old one, use the new one and still get the error. I found something that said to end task of the "agent" program running in task manager and retry.. I did that, still nothing. I then read somewhere else to delete or rename your wtf folder, which I did. Then restarted it to still again have the error. I have also started to get error 132 now. I even allowed admin to my launcher shortcut and still get the failed to read a required file.
My wife's pc has started off just like this too, only I've not done anything to her pc to try and fix it yet, incase I screw something up here on mine, it's only mine that's fubar'd.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this, or get around it or something? We don't have highspeed broadband, just wifi(due to home location out in the boonies.. So, a 1gig dl will take us about an hour. So i'm hoping we don't have to redo it all again from start. Last time we had this re-configure crap from blizzard we were locked out of playing the game for 2 months trying to download everything again on satelite(at that time).
Any help would be awesome!
Thank you!

Sounds like you have security software blocking the game update. Make sure you have firewalls and anti-virus programs turned off temporarily and that you have admin privileges.
Running as an admin:
Right Click the launcher icon
Select PROPERTIES
Click the COMPATIBILITY tab
Check the box for "Run this program as an administrator"
Click APPLY then OK
Start the Launcher
