No, it will not give druids more dodge than, lets say, a warrior.
Defense rating is useless for druids.

The chance to be missed granted by defense rating is also something people tend to forget...
When you reach about 50% dodge, disminishing returns make defense rating a better stat to stack than agi in order to increase your avoidance, for the added dodge and chance to be missed.
