I'm using Firefox 3 and I'm not seeing any problem. Are you using any addons? One of them might be the source of the problem. Try disabling them one at a time until it's fixed.
As for IE8, is there something that's
not
broken in that browser? =/

I have no problems using either IE8, or FF3 - on 4 different machines. I don't believe this is an issue of the wowhead website.
By chance are you using FF3.1 with the new tracemonkey javascript engine enabled? (If you don't know the answer to this the answer is probably no, since you have to manually turn it on as of this writing)
