FFB haste cap

Hi, I am currently using the FFB 0/53/18 build (
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Mug%27thol&n=Scimy
). I wanted to know what is the haste cap for this build using a rotation of : LB -> scorch*2 -> FFB (refreshing LB and scorches, always procing hot streak).
Also, what can i improve on my gear pre-naxx ? (on heroics, badges and rep)

Generally you try to aim for ~220+ haste that'll let you squeeze an extra ffb into your rotation, anything more you really don't need. But it does help on the gcd and extra dps.
You can pick up a
Titanium Spellshock Necklace
, but you'd have to squeeze out some extra hit. Or you could get the
Circle of Arcane Streams
from OS10. There's also the
Rod of the Fallen Monarch
, again you'll need to adjust your gear for the loss in hit. Also on gear you're not upgrading for awhile(hero gear etc) don't be stingy and use higher quality gems, along with the epic spellthread on your pants(you're only 14pts away from 420 tailoring so you get it super cheap, and it's an extra 15sp) compared to everyone else.
Personally I wish Grand Widow Farlena would drop that damnable sword or we'd get a trash drop. Farming 10's with two raids 0 drops. One mh off KT I passed to our moonkin in the last several weeks stinks, and that's the first mh we've seen. And 0 mh drops in heroic, it's almost looking like bwl again.

Nice gear.
Strictly my opinion but you would be better off trading some of your haste for crit. Also when the next patch hits FFB stops double dipping on EP and you'll need 3% more hit to cap. As for haste cap, until you get GCD to 1 second you'll get some benefit from more haste. The question is that where your gear is best directed?
According to EJ,once hit capped and until spell power hits 4000, a FFB mage should select Spell power>Crit>Haste>Int. There is a point where the benefits cross but I believe its over 50% crit (including molten armor) not including raid buffs and target debuffs. With the armor and FFB glyphs, you are at 31.37% so you have a lot of benefit left.

If i understood, I'd need to replace some haste with crits and adjust my hit rating abit? I find it hard tought to find good hit rating gear in heroics, since most of them drop in naxx25.
I have another side question thought. As you noticed my professions are mining and tailoring. I wanted to know if upgrading them to enchanting(for the +19sp on rings) and jewelcrafting(for the 3*+32sp gems) would be a good upgrade talking about PvE. I've calculate that's about 86 more sp for my gear. I don't really see the meaning of tailoring in wotlk since it doesnt give anything good imo. As for mining, it's only a gathering profession that i can replace with another caracter mining.
What would be your toughts about this point?

The tailor-only leg-enchants are similar to the one they can sell. So no extra spellpower there. Just cheaper mats. ;)
On my server with primal fire running 90-110g a pop, it's still currently cheaper to keep tailoring if you have it then level a new profession and get a epic boe spellthread made. Personally the bop spellthread should have been on par with shoulder enchants with insc. or wrist enchants from leatherworking.
But come 3.1 I guess I'll find out if I'm dumping tailoring altogether.

Exchanging your own belt for
Plush Sash of Guzbah
would result in a good net gain of hit, but I wouldn't go for it unless I really wanted that hit.
To my understanding, that belt is pretty much the best belt a raid mage can get right now outside of 25-man Naxx. My guild isn't big enough to pull together 25 mans, so as soon as I got that belt, you bet your ass I socketed it. :P
