Don't use Deep Freeze unless their Blink is down; or for example, make them burn their trinket by Deep Freeze, and Deep Freeze them with Cold Snap+Counterspell sometime after. Make them burn their Blink on a Frost Nova, and then Water Elemental freeze them. Make them burn their Counterspell on Scorch or Arcane Missiles or Polymorph so you're locked out of a school that is not a priority. Keep account of their cooldowns and using yours effectively is the key to beating any class, and beating your own class should be easier as you know more about them.
